COVID-19 Guidance for Healthcare Providers

Healthcare providers are at increased risk of exposure to SARS-CoV-2. With the intent to help healthcare providers reduce the risk of SARS-CoV-2 transmission, interim guidance has been released by the AHA.

We visually summarized this guidance with a focus on resuscitation care through our infographics. Key concepts in with regards to resuscitation care for COVID19 suspected or confirmed patients:

  • Minimizing exposure risk
  • PPE and Exposure considerations for potentially COVID-19 positive patients
  • Precautions for aerosol-generation procedures
  • Implementation of environmental infection control
