Hi Folks!

The atmosphere at the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians (CAEP) conference was electric as attendees gathered for the first day of an event that promised to be both informative and transformative.

From the heartwarming reunions of old friends and colleagues to the forging of new friendships, the day was already off to an engaging start. However, it was the poignant plenary session on reinventing oneself after a major life event that truly captured the essence of the day.

Today’s main plenary featured Dr. Sunil Mangal, an Emergency Physician at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver for over 20 years, who suffered a life-altering stroke almost 4 years ago. His vulnerability on the effect this had on his career, identity, finances, family and friends earned him a standing ovation from the audience.

To capture the essence of the remarkable first day at CAEP, our host, Sam Savard, conducts an insightful interview with Dr. Sunil Mangal. Listeners will gain a deeper understanding of Dr. Mangal’s experiences, challenges, and triumphs. Additionally, Sam provides a glimpse into the numerous other captivating sessions and discussions that took place throughout the day.

So, tune in, be inspired, and join us on this incredible journey of discovery and reinvention at CAEP.
